London City Airport Taxi Prices
Working out what a taxi to London City Airport will cost shouldn’t take more than a minute. Onward Travel Solutions quotes every London City Airport transfer as a fixed price before you travel, so the fare you agree at booking is exactly what you pay — no meter, no surge pricing, and nothing added for busy periods or traffic delays.
How London City Airport Taxi Pricing Works
Your fare is calculated from your pickup or drop-off address, the distance to London City Airport, and the vehicle you choose. From central London, that’s roughly 12 miles and around 35 minutes under normal traffic, but your price stays fixed however long the journey actually takes.
What’s Included in Every Fare
Tolls, standard luggage, and meet and greet with flight tracking are all included in your London City Airport fare. There’s nothing added on the day beyond what you were quoted at booking.
Vehicle Options and Pricing
A standard saloon suits most solo travellers and couples. Estate cars offer more luggage space for a modest increase, and minibuses are available for larger groups or families at a fixed group rate, often working out cheaper per person than several separate taxis.
Group and Family Pricing
Families and groups travelling to London City Airport can book an estate car or minibus at a single fixed rate rather than splitting into separate taxis. Child seats can be requested at no extra charge, and the fixed price covers the whole group and their luggage.
Comparing Fixed Fares to Metered Cabs and Ride-Hailing Apps
A metered taxi or ride-hailing app can quote a low estimate that rises with surge pricing or a longer-than-expected route. Because our London City Airport fares are fixed and agreed before you travel, there’s no risk of the final price differing from what you were quoted.
Business Account Pricing
Companies that use London City Airport regularly can set up a corporate account with consolidated monthly invoicing and agreed rates for common routes, suiting businesses near the airport or teams travelling for meetings.
