Our fixed fare from Heathrow to Canary Wharf is £73 in a saloon, and it is the same from Terminals 2, 3, 4 and 5. The airport parking and drop-off fee is already inside that price. The Elizabeth line now runs direct from Heathrow to Canary Wharf too, so this page sets out honestly when the car is worth it and when the train is the better buy.

Every other vehicle costs the same from all four terminals. Your exact building or hotel can be priced in the booking form at the top of the page.
The same fares apply when we take you from Canary Wharf to Heathrow. Our Canary Wharf to Heathrow taxi page covers timing for outbound flights.
The Elizabeth line or a taxi?
The Elizabeth line runs direct from Heathrow to Canary Wharf with no change. From Terminals 2 and 3 the trip takes about 47 minutes, and an adult single costs £15.50 with contactless or Oyster. For one person with hand luggage going to an office above the station, that is hard to beat on price.
The car earns its fare in other cases:
When there are several of you. Three colleagues in a saloon pay about £24 each, and the price covers the whole car, so there is no ticket per person.
When your destination is not the station. Canary Wharf station sits in the middle of the estate. Hotels and residential towers along the river, on the Isle of Dogs or around Wood Wharf can be a long walk with cases. The car stops at the door.
When you are carrying long-haul luggage. Two large cases each, through a busy terminal station at rush hour, is hard work after an overnight flight.
When you land outside normal hours. Our fare is the same at 6am, midday or midnight.
For business travellers
The executive car (3 passengers, 2 cases) is £96. If a team is arriving together, the executive minivan seats six with six cases for £142, which keeps everyone in one vehicle and arriving at the same time.
If the journey is going on a company account, put the purchase order or reference in the booking notes so it appears on the receipt. Our Heathrow executive chauffeur page has more on the executive service.
Being met at Heathrow
Heathrow does not allow taxis to pick up on the terminal forecourts, so a pre-booked driver will not be waiting at the kerb. Instead:
- You give us your flight number when you book, and we follow the flight.
- Your driver waits inside the arrivals hall with a name board. Meet and greet is included on our Heathrow transfers.
- You have 60 minutes of free waiting from the time the plane lands, which covers passport control and baggage reclaim.
If you are landing at Terminal 3, our Heathrow Terminal 3 taxi page explains that terminal’s layout in more detail. Delays beyond the hour are covered on our flight delays and waiting time page.
Getting the drop-off right at Canary Wharf
Canary Wharf has its own private roads and security, and some buildings have a set drop-off point. If yours does, tell us in the booking notes, for example “drop at the main reception on the north side”. Your driver will use it.
You can check your flight’s live status on the official Heathrow arrivals board.
Which Heathrow terminal?
The fare is the same from all four for cars and minivans. British Airways uses Terminal 5 for most flights; Virgin Atlantic, Delta, American Airlines and Emirates use Terminal 3. Your booking confirmation shows the terminal, and our driver needs to know it.
Going back to Heathrow
The outbound fare from Canary Wharf is the same £73. Your driver waits 10 minutes free at the pickup. Heathrow’s £7 drop-off charge is already in the fare. Allow plenty of time: the route crosses or circles London, and weekday traffic varies a lot. Our Canary Wharf to Heathrow taxi page covers this in detail.
