A pre-booked Gatwick Airport taxi from Onward Travel Solutions takes you from the North or South Terminal to any address in London at a fixed price, agreed before you travel. A saloon to Victoria costs £99, and the same fare applies at 3am as at 3pm. Your driver meets you inside the arrivals hall with a name board, and the airport parking and drop-off fee is already in the quote.
To get a price, enter your pickup and drop-off in the booking form at the top of this page. It shows a fixed fare for every vehicle, from a saloon to a 16-seat minibus, before you commit.

Gatwick Airport taxi to London
Most of our Gatwick work is the run between the airport and London: arrivals going to homes, hotels and offices, and departures heading the other way for a flight. The car goes door to door, so there is no train change with luggage and no taxi queue after a long flight.
Common London drop-offs include:
- Hotels in Westminster, Kensington, Mayfair and around the main stations
- Offices in the City, Canary Wharf and the West End
- Homes anywhere in Greater London, including south London addresses such as Croydon
- Stations and airports, including London City, Heathrow, Stansted and Luton
If you are going somewhere outside London, the same booking form prices it. Towns near the airport such as Crawley, Redhill and Reigate are short runs, and we also cover the cruise terminals at Southampton, Portsmouth and Dover.

Fixed-price Gatwick transfers: what is included
A fixed price means the figure you book is the figure you pay. Traffic on the M23 or a slow crawl through south London does not change it, and there is no surcharge for night flights or weekends.
Every quote includes:
- the airport parking and drop-off fee
- flight tracking for airport collections
- one hour of free waiting after your flight lands
- 10 minutes of free waiting at home, hotel and office pickups
What is not included is anything you add yourself, such as an extra stop on the way. Add it in the booking form and it is priced before you confirm.
Gatwick North and South Terminal taxi
Gatwick has two terminals about a two-minute ride apart on the free inter-terminal shuttle. Your driver needs to know which one you are using, so check your airline booking.
| Terminal | Airlines include |
|---|---|
| North Terminal | easyJet, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, Swiss |
| South Terminal | British Airways, easyJet, Ryanair, Wizz Air, Jet2 |
easyJet flies from both, so do not guess. The shuttle between terminals runs every few minutes, 24 hours a day, if you end up at the wrong one.
For terminal-specific details, see our Gatwick North Terminal taxi and Gatwick South Terminal taxi pages.
How pickup works at Gatwick
- You book with your flight number. We follow the flight, so your pickup is planned around when you actually land, not the time printed on your ticket.
- Your driver waits inside arrivals. At the North or South Terminal, the driver stands in the arrivals hall holding a name board with your name on it.
- You have an hour after landing. Passport control and baggage reclaim take time. The free hour starts when the plane lands.
- The driver walks you to the car. You do not need to find a pickup zone or cross a car park on your own.
If your flight changes, send us the new flight number so we can follow the right one. Our flight delays and waiting time page explains what happens if a delay runs longer.
Gatwick Airport meet and greet
Every collection includes meet and greet: your driver is in the arrivals hall with a name board, not waiting outside for you to find them. It helps most after a long-haul flight, if you are travelling with children, or if someone else has booked the car for you.
Our Gatwick meet and greet taxi page explains the service in more detail.
Taxi or Gatwick Express?
The Gatwick Express reaches London Victoria in as little as 31 minutes. If you are on your own, travelling light and staying near Victoria, the train is hard to beat.
A taxi from Gatwick makes more sense when:
- There are several of you. Four people in an estate to Victoria pay about £27 each.
- You are not staying near a station. A hotel in Kensington or a flat in Clapham is a door-to-door trip by car, but another Tube or taxi ride after the train.
- You have a lot of luggage. Cases, pushchairs and car seats are easier in a car than on the Underground.
- You land late or leave very early. Our fixed fare is the same at any hour.
Gatwick Airport taxi for families and groups
Choose by luggage first, then by passengers. Most problems at the kerb come from a car that is too small for the cases.
| Vehicle | Passengers | Suitcases | Gatwick to Victoria |
|---|---|---|---|
| Saloon | 3 | 3 | £99 |
| Estate | 4 | 4 | £109 |
| Executive | 3 | 2 | £125 |
| People carrier | 6 | 5 | £125 |
| 8-seater minivan | 8 | 8 | £151 |
| Executive minivan | 6 | 6 | £183 |
| 12-seat minibus | 12 | 10 | £314 |
| 16-seat minibus | 16 | 14 | £371 |
Child seats are available on request; ask for them when you book. For bigger groups, see Gatwick minibus hire and our 8-seater taxi to Gatwick page. Business travellers can book an executive car; our Gatwick executive chauffeur page has more.
Gatwick to Heathrow taxi
If you are connecting between London’s two biggest airports, a taxi from Gatwick to Heathrow is a fixed £87 in a saloon to any Heathrow terminal, £100 in an estate and £116 in a people carrier. There is no direct train between the two airports, so the car saves at least one change with your luggage.
Allow plenty of time for the M25. See our Gatwick to Heathrow taxi page for connection planning. We also run transfers to Stansted (£112 in a saloon) and Luton (£117).
