How We Handle Pet Travel Safely and Comfortably
For pet-friendly bookings, we ask you to specify your pet’s size and whether they’ll travel in a carrier or need to be secured with a harness, since this determines which vehicle in our fleet is the best fit and whether we need to bring a protective seat cover. Small pets in secure carriers can generally travel in any of our standard vehicles, while larger dogs are often better suited to our estate or larger vehicles where they have more room to sit or lie down comfortably during the journey.
We recommend feeding your pet lightly and well before the journey rather than immediately before travel, particularly for longer airport transfers, and letting your driver know at booking if your pet may be anxious in vehicles so they can plan a calmer, steadier drive. Vehicles are cleaned between pet bookings as standard, so there’s no need to worry about lingering pet hair or odour affecting your journey.

This isn’t standard for shorter local journeys, but for a longer transfer it’s something we’re happy to plan in if it would make the trip more comfortable for your pet.
We also recommend keeping your pet’s usual lead, harness, or carrier easily accessible rather than packed away in checked luggage, so there’s no scramble to locate it during the transition between vehicle and terminal, or vehicle and home, at either end of the journey.
