Our 12-seater minibus service at Manchester Airport takes up to 12 passengers and their luggage in one vehicle, with a professional driver and a fixed price for the whole group. It is a simple way to get a family, team or group of friends from the terminal to your destination together.
You pay one fixed price for the whole vehicle, not per passenger, and the price does not change if the roads are busy or your plans run late. Use the booking form at the top of this page and choose the 12-seat minibus for an instant quote.

Who Books a 12-Seater for Manchester Airport?
Manchester is a major holiday airport, so many of our 12-seater bookings are extended families flying out together, as well as golf groups, business teams and football supporters heading to or from the city.
Across all our routes, the 12-seater is popular with families travelling together, small corporate teams, golf and sports clubs, choirs and bands, and wedding parties of up to a dozen guests. If your group is 9 or 10 people with heavy luggage, a 12-seater is often the more comfortable choice than squeezing into an 8-seater, because the spare seats and boot give you room to breathe.
Seating and Luggage Space
With all 12 seats filled, a typical 12-seater takes around one large suitcase and one cabin bag per passenger, depending on the model. If your group is travelling light, there is room to spare; if everyone has two large cases, ski bags or golf clubs, tell us when you book and we will confirm the right vehicle.
Child seats, pushchairs and folding wheelchairs can be carried; just list them when you book.
Getting to and from Manchester Airport
Manchester Airport is the busiest airport in the north of England, around 9 miles south of the city centre at the junction of the M56 and M60 network. The airport has been through a major transformation programme that has moved most airlines into the expanded Terminal 2, so always check your terminal with your airline before you travel.
For arrivals, your driver meets the group inside the arrivals hall of your terminal with a name board. For departures, we use the terminal drop-off zone, and any drop-off charge is part of the fixed price.
For terminal information and live updates, see the official Manchester Airport website.
One Minibus vs Several Cars
Instead of booking three saloons or two people carriers, one 12-seater keeps the group together, arrives at one time and gives you a single fixed price.
| One 12-seater minibus | Several taxis | |
|---|---|---|
| Arrival | Everyone together | Cars can arrive at different times |
| Price | One fixed fare | Several fares to pay and share |
| Coordination | One driver, one contact number | Several drivers to track |
| Luggage | Loaded once, in one place | Split across boots |
Choosing the Right Size: 8, 12 or 16 Seats
| Group size | Best vehicle | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 5 to 8 people | 8-seater minivan | Lower price, easy to park, fine with standard luggage |
| 9 to 12 people | 12-seater minibus | Room for the group and holiday luggage in one vehicle |
| 13 to 16 people | 16-seater minibus | Keeps a large party together with one driver |
| More than 16 | Two or more vehicles | We coordinate the vehicles to arrive together |
If you are between sizes, choose by luggage as well as passengers. A group of 11 with large cases and sports bags may travel more comfortably in a 16-seater than a full 12-seater.
What’s Included in the Price

- Flight tracking and free waiting time after landing.
- Help with loading and unloading luggage.
- A fixed price that does not change with traffic or diversions.
Practical Tips for Group Airport Transfers
- Choose one lead contact: the driver will call one person, so give us the number of whoever is organising the group.
- Agree a meeting point: after landing, gather the group together before heading out, so the driver can load everyone at once.
- Leave extra time for departures: group check-in and bag drop take longer, so aim to arrive at least two and a half hours before a short-haul flight.
- List the luggage: numbers of large cases, cabin bags and bulky items help us confirm the vehicle is the right size.
- Split pickups: if the group starts from several addresses, add each one as a stop.
Areas We Cover Around Manchester Airport
We carry groups between Manchester Airport and the city centre, Salford Quays, the football stadiums, and towns across Cheshire and Greater Manchester. We cover Manchester city centre, Salford Quays, Trafford, Stockport, Wilmslow, Altrincham, Sale, Knutsford, and anywhere else in the UK. If your address is not listed, the booking form will still give a fixed price.
How to Book Your 12-Seater
- Get a quote: enter your pickup, destination and date in the form at the top of the page, and choose the 12-seat minibus.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many people can travel in the 12-seater minibus?
Up to 12 passengers plus the driver.
Is the price fixed?
Yes. The price covers the whole minibus and is agreed when you book. It does not change with traffic.
What if our flight is delayed?
We track your flight and adjust the pickup to the real landing time, so there is no need to call us.
Is a driver included?
Yes. Every minibus booking comes with an experienced driver, so nobody in your group needs to drive.
Can we make extra stops?
Yes. Add extra pickups or drop-offs in the booking form, for example to collect guests from different addresses.
How do we pay?
You pay the driver on the day. Business customers can pay on account with monthly invoices.
Is a 12-seater minibus big enough for 12 people with luggage?
Usually yes, with around one large case and one cabin bag each. If your group has more than that, or bulky items like golf clubs, tell us when you book so we can confirm the vehicle or suggest a 16-seater.
Should we book a 12-seater or an 8-seater?
For 8 people or fewer, an 8-seater is normally the better value. From 9 passengers, or for 7 to 8 people with a lot of luggage, the 12-seater is the right size.
Can you take a group from Manchester Airport to a football match?
Yes. We run group transfers to Old Trafford, the Etihad Stadium and other venues. On match days, allow extra time for traffic around the grounds.
Which terminal should we use at Manchester?
It depends on your airline. Most airlines now use the expanded Terminal 2, but check your booking before you travel and tell us the terminal.
